Robert M. Sage, DPM, FACFAS, FASPS
Appointed Board Member of CLI Global Society
Grand Rapids, MI (USA) – The Critical Limb Ischemia (CLI) Global Society is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert M. Sage, DPM, FACFAS, FASPS as its newest member to the Board of Directors.

Katzen, President and Founding Board Member, CLI Global Society. “Dr. Sage’s expertise, integrity, and commitment to service closely align with our mission, and we are confident that he will play a meaningful role in advancing our work and expanding our global impact.”
Dr. Sage is a distinguished member of the Board of Trustees of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) and practices podiatric medicine and surgery at Beloit Health System in Beloit, Wisconsin, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons as well as a Fellow of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons, reflecting his extensive clinical expertise and leadership in the field.
Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Sage has held numerous leadership roles. He has served as President of the Medical Staff and Chief of Surgery at Beloit Health System, demonstrating a longstanding commitment to clinical excellence and organizational leadership.
Dr. Sage was an active member of the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Podiatric Medical Association from 2001 to 2020, serving as President during the 2008–2009 and 2017–2018. He further contributed to professional governance through service on the Podiatry Affiliated Credentialing Board from 2020 to 2023, where he held the role of Chairperson from 2021 to 2023 and served on the Executive Council of the Midwest Podiatry Conference and was President in 2021.
The CLI Global Society welcomes Dr. Sage’s leadership, experience, and dedication as it continues its mission to improve the quality of life and prevent amputations for patients suffering from critical limb ischemia worldwide.
